PROJECT ACTIVITIES

  • Used the 'Investors in People' framework to integrate the hospital units into one 'corporate whole' and strengthen management skills and competencies
  • Carried out 'Investors in People' diagnostic surveys across all hospital sites
  • Identified Management Training and Development system weaknesses and skills deficiencies across the portfolio of hospitals
  • Developed internal mechanisms and procedures to;
    • Communicate the BUPA mission
    • Implement common 'Core Values' across the hospitals
    • Establish integrated Training Needs Analysis mechanisms
    • Implement effective Performance Appraisals
    • Follow-up and assess the benefits derived from Training and Development

PROJECT RESULTS

  • Established effective networking arrangements for specialist functions across the hospital units
